Who is Eligible?

Medicinal cannabis has been approved for use by prescription in Australia under the
Narcotics Drugs Act 1967.

To be eligible to receive medicinal cannabis therapies, each patient must have the therapy prescribed by a medical practitioner. Medicinal cannabis may be prescribed for any condition where the prescribing doctor determines there is a medical need.

Once the doctor determines your suitability for this treatment, you will need to receive relevant state and federal approvals to access the medicinal cannabis treatments. Our team will work with the doctors to get these approvals. As one of the companies with the most approved applications, we are here to help you complete this process quickly and easily.

To date, medical cannabis has been approved for the treatment of over 40 conditions, and this list is expanding based on the emerging clinical evidence.

Who is Not Eligible?

There are some circumstances where you will not be eligible for treatment with medical cannabis, such as if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

In addition, certain other drugs may interact with cannabis therapies. In those cases, it is unlikely you’ll be prescribed medical cannabis until the original treatment has come to an end.
